By the time autumn has come down on us, no doubt spirits will need lifting. Here's the perfect hit to achieve such transcendence: Pete Morton, live at the Organ Grinder, Loughborough, with support from songwriter Tom Patterson and his long term sidekick Dave Morton (guitar, juggling etc). A certain amount of nostalgia involved as well: the OG was formerly known as the Pack Horse and housed a folk club where Pete played regular gigs for many years so a return to an old haunt that has been successfully relaunched after falling on hard times. The battered upstairs room has also been refurbished and offers a somewhat more comfortable listening experience... date for your diaries: Friday 22nd November, doors 8 pm.
